About
The Eschtivus Foundation started after our dear friend, son, brother, nephew, and cousin Tom Esch passed away from colon cancer on August 7, 2010—less than two months after he turned 31.
Colon cancer is the second leading cause of cancer-related deaths in the United States and the third most common cancer in men and in women.
In response to Tom's diagnosis of stage IV colon cancer in March 2010, several of his friends planned the first Eschtivus Classic for September 2010, to help with medical costs. Tom planned to attend.
Today the Eschtivus Foundation continues to further cancer research through its signature event, the Eschtivus Classic.
